Michele D. Simoni

Associate Professor

Associate Professor in Transport Systems Analysis at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. Michele’s main research activity is currently focused on modeling and optimization of advanced transportation solutions based on the most recent communication and automation technologies. Previously a Postdoctoral Associate at the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests include last-mile logistics, transportation policies, and traffic flow simulation. He is a part-time researcher at the OECD International Transport Forum.

Xing Tong

PhD Student

Xing is a PhD student in the Division of Transport and Systems Analysis, engaging in the Investigating Sidewalk Mobility and Improving it with Robot (ISMIR) project. His expertise lies in Traffic Analysis, GIS, Robust Optimization, and Machine Learning. He holds a BSc in Traffic Engineering from Southeast University (China) and a MSc in Transport and Geoinformation Technology from KTH.

Jaehyung Lee

Researcher

Jaehyung is a researcher in the Division of Transport and Systems Analysis, working on the Congestion Pricing of the Future project. He obtained a PhD in Urban Planning and Engineering from Yonsei University (Republic of Korea). His research focuses on travel behavior modeling and urban mobility, with a strong background in activity-based and agent-based modeling, big data, and machine learning.

Riccardo Imbrogno

PhD Student

Riccardo is a Doctoral student in Transport Science. He holds a BSc in Mathematics and a MSc in Transport Systems Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome. His PhD research focuses on crowdsourced last-mile deliveries, their urban impact, and optimization strategies.
